Whilst rehearsing their upcoming Telethon duet, Barbara and Rod discovered they had the same rate of natural vocal vibrato - a highly desired technique for vocal group work, but a rare situation for non blood-related people.  This very profound discovery sealed their blossoming attraction to each other.  They became a couple in 1977 and married in 1978.

Since then, Barbara and Rod have travelled the world, parented a beautiful and talented son, and shared many interesting careers.  They live full and varied lives.  They have been through the worst of times in many forms, and survived and prospered through them all into the best of times.

Rod and Barbara share their wealth of knowledge and breadth of experience to help other couples bypass some of those bad times and direct them to the open road of a wonderful life and a seriously happy marriage.
