A Successful Life by Della Steen  2nd Prize Winner

"A Successful Life" reveals how giving our hearts everyday to the glory of goodness, and revelling in the happiness that giving returns, can ensure a feeling of on-going personal success.  Della has managed, by revealing her own thoughts, to re-affirm that each of us has a purpose and a set of skills belonging to no-one else.  It is certainly a successful life when we become who we are meant to be, doing what we are meant to be doing.
Della won $50AUD and chose "Married and Loving It!".

I Wish That I Could Catch Your Laugh by Narissa Doumani Highly Commended

“I Wish that I could Catch Your Laugh” is a delightful and charming poem.  It joyfully bounces into the heart and mind, while still exposing a deep and mature love.  It achieves a major aim of all writing – it touches the emotions, and leaves the reader with a smile on their face.
Narissa won and chose "Married and Loving It!".

Worldly Success by Nicole West  Highly Commended

“Worldly Success” is a wonderful emotional roller coaster around the world.  It takes the mind and heart on a quick yet remarkably evocative journey.  We love the way it creates a feeling of happiness and travel-bliss for the reader and then uses that positive emotional outcome to bring home the point of the poem –feelings of joy are exactly what make our lives a complete success.
Nicole won and chose "Married and Loving It!".
