Speaking of Love - positive and uplifting short stories and poems about Romance, Marriage and True Love.

- Speaking of Love -
positive and uplifting
short stories and poems about
Romance, Marriage and true Love.

If you're in love with love,
then join the club -
everyone who wants a brighter day and a brighter world belongs to the exact same club
and we're all looking for ways to make our hearts sing and our eyes shine.

LUCKY for us, Speaking of Love
manages to do both.
Give yourself,
or someone you care about,
a real treat and read
Speaking of Love
now.
You deserve it.
You deserve to feel wonderful.
You deserve
to feel wonderful right now.

Heigh Ho! Heigh Ho!

I’m not really complaining,
And I don’t wish to sound creepy,
But when I wake up each morning,
I’m both grumpy and sleepy.

My sinuses plugged,
I’m sounding quite wheezy,
And in a very few moments,
I’ve now become sneezy.

I stumble around,
Acting tired and mopey
Before my first coffee,
I really am dopey.

I mumble a lot
Too bashful, my talk is not snappy
With my last sip of coffee
I begin to be happy.

Of the things I will do
I begin to take stock
I ponder awhile
Say to myself “What’s up today, doc?”

I pack up my stuff
It’s about time that I go,
And then it’s off to work
Heigh Ho! Heigh Ho!

As I sit in the car
With a thought, I suddenly jerked,
Who was that girl singing and dancing this morning
And whistling while she worked?
